About the Owner: Our Story
Sheltons Janitorial didnt start with a loan; it started with a walk. Years ago, I was a young mom in Edgewater, CA, starting over. After years of abuse and choices I wasnt proud of, I hit rock bottom. I had no car, no vacuum, and was fighting for custody of my two boys.
I started cleaning because it was the only way to get back on my feet. Saving waitressing tips and walking door-to-door with flyers, I cleaned for $45 a house. Slowly, with prayer and my parents help, I saved for a little red bug car. That tiny Beetle was the start of my comeback.
The 210,000 Sq. Ft. Turning Point
Nothing was handed to me. I earned my reputation by cleaning a 210,000 sq. ft. building for the Army Corps of Engineers at Beale Air Force Base entirely by myself, three times over. I built this company check-by-check. No loans. Just hard work.
A Life Transformed
The greatest victory is the woman I became. My boys watched me grow into a woman of God. Today, one son serves in the U.S. Navy, and the other is building a beautiful life here at home. God has blessed me beyond measure; I am now a grandmother to six amazing grandkids, including my first biological granddaughter. We are proof that no matter how hard youve been hit, you can stand back up and build something beautiful.
The Navy Standard promise
Inspired by my fathers legacy and my sons service in the U.S. Navy, we bring a level of discipline and integrity that is unmatched. We dont stop until the job is done right.
